- Ingram Micro Italy was recognised by Microsoft
as ‘Distributor of the Year 2006’ for Microsoft
Licensing & Full Products.
- Ingram Micro Germany was honoured with the
‘Excellent Performance 2006’ award by Nero
for the second time in a row. Ingram Micro Germany has been
distributing Nero’s digital media products since 1999.
The award symbolizes the steady relationship between the two
companies and the overall satisfaction regarding Nero business
development through Ingram Micro Germany in 2006.

- Ingram Micro Norway was honoured with the
Lenovo ‘Best Distributor of the Year’ award
for its exceptional performance. The award acknowledges the
benefits for customers and vendors of partnering with Ingram
Micro.
- At the Symantec Channel Party 2007, Ingram
Micro Netherlands was distinguished as ‘Broadline
Distributor of the Year 2006’. This recognition mark
goes to the Dutch Software Group as well as to the License Desk
for their tremendous job in handling the changes in Symantec
license programmes. Ingram Micro Netherlands was also nominated
in the Retail category.
- Ingram Micro Belgium was also awarded by
Symantec as ‘Best Broadline Distributor of the Year
2006’. Ingram Micro Belgium was awarded for its 2006
overall revenue in Symantec sales, its leading market share
in ‘Availability and Security Business’
and for the largest license deals in 2006. Excellent commercial
support and ability to respond to changing business needs in
license programmes were also brought forward to distinguish
Ingram Micro Belgium.
- Once again, Ingram Micro Germany was recognised
one of the ‘Best Employers of Germany (Deutschlands Beste
Arbeitgeber)’ in a survey done by Psychonomics AG and
published by CAPITAL magazine. The survey is the result of the
“Great Place to Work” competition organised
by the German Minister of Labour. 198 companies took part in
the competition where Ingram Micro came 34th in the overall
ranking and reached #19 among enterprises of between 501 and
5,000 employees.
- Ingram Micro Italy was recognised by Linksys
as their ‘Fastest Growing Partner of the Year’.
The team was honoured for its excellent results achieved with
Linksys during 2006 and their effective marketing and communications
activities and the quality of the service that IM Italy provides
to the retail segment, a market where Linksys was able to achieve
significant growth in the past year.. Last but not least, one
of the reasons for awarding our company was.

- At AMD’s Worldwide Distributor Conference
2007 that took place in Hollywood, California, Ingram Micro
Europe proudly received the ‘AMD Market Development
Award 2006 – Europe’ for its achievements with
AMD in Europe in the past year. Ingram Micro was also honoured
with a global award for ‘Fastest Growing Distributor
– Worldwide’.

- At the Cisco Partner Summit held in Las Vegas,
Ingram Micro was honoured with several awards. At country level
across Europe, Ingram Micro Benelux, the Netherlands and Germany
were recognised and in the category of Home Networking (Linksys)
Ingram Micro France and Italy were distinguished. Ingram Micro
also received the ‘Global Distribution Partner of
the Year 2006’ for its sustained growth, its deployment
of innovative programmes and for its SMB 2 Tier business development.
From a European perspective, and in recognition of the tremendous
performance from all of Ingram Micro’s country teams,
the company received the ‘European Theatre Markets
Partner of the Year’ award, the first time a distributor
ever gains this award for its achievements.

- Ingram Micro Netherlands has been selected
by 3Com as ‘Distribution Partner of the Year’
for the value adds it brings to the channel.

- Ingram Micro Netherlands was recognised with
the Misco Supply Chain award for ‘Best Broadline Distributor’.
In cooperation with the University of Neyenrode, Misco, one
of the largest Dutch e-tailers and a member of the international
Systemax group, developed a rating methodology that includes
measurements such as reach, fill rate, back orders, pricing,
and returns quality of delivery and of sales people. Out of
a total possible score of 260, Ingram Micro Netherlands received
an overall rate of 216, by far the highest score in all ranking
categories (broadliners, specialised distributors and vendors).

- Web magazine CRN named Gerhard Schulz, Ingram
Micro Senior Vice President and Executive Managing Director
Germany, one of ‘Germany’s Top Managers of 2007’.
At #3 position, Gerhard Schulz was acknowledged for his openness
and transparency and his good crisis management. “Despite
the disruptions due to the deployment of a new warehouse management
system in December 2006, Gerhard Schulz was up to the challenge
and managed quickly to regain resellers’ trust, ensuring
business continuity”, wrote the magazine.
